Adoption/Foster Care Information Nights
Learn more about the steps to becoming a foster or adoptive parent, the children needing temporary care or forever families, and visit with League social workers who can answer your questions. Call 1-877-530-5275 or email us for dates and locations of information nights in your area.

PS-MAPP Classes
This class is for those who want to move forward in the process of becoming a foster or adoptive parent. PS-MAPP (Permanency and Safety: Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) helps families decide whether or not foster care or adoption is right for them and prepares them for their role as resource parents. PS-MAPP is offered free of charge. Classes meet for three hours over 10 consecutive weeks (for a total of 30 hours). For more information read the League's PS-MAPP brochure.

Completion of PS-MAPP is required before children can be placed in your home. You must pre-register for a PS-MAPP class. To register call toll-free 1-877-530-5275 or email us.
