Helping Area Children and Families
Helping kickoff the Christmas season, KCSL held its annual Red Stocking Breakfast fundraisers on Dec. 3 and 10 to support area prevention and education programs.
“It’s always wonderful to get together and celebrate while strengthening our community,” said KCSL CEO Gail Cozadd. “Red Stocking Breakfast is a family friendly way for us to gather, be merry, and support our mission to protect and promote the well-being of children.”
Over 1,000 people attended breakfasts in Emporia, Overland Park, Topeka and Wichita combined. Each location hosts a unique Red Stocking Breakfast but all include delicious food served by local celebrities and fun activities for the whole family. Attendees also had an opportunity to enter raffles or bid on silent auction items from area retailers. Preliminary results show over $160,000 has been raised supporting KCSL’s work to build stronger families in Kansas. We are grateful for all our generous partners, volunteers and attendees who help make this signature event a success!
