Empowering Western Kansas Communities
Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL) participated in the Western Kansas Community Foundation’s (WKCF) Match Day 2023, an event that fostered community support for local nonprofits. Running from November 14 to November 28, Match Day aimed to grow endowments for organizations like KCSL without affecting immediate funding needs. It connected the community to vital resources and supportive organizations.
WKCF’s Match Day 2023 was an outstanding success, drawing $851,051 in donations from 655 generous contributors. KCSL received $4,845 from 28 donors, which when matched, significantly amplified the impact of their contributions. This tremendous support showed the incredible generosity and solidarity within the western Kansas community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all who participated, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. With your unwavering support, we furthered our work to serve children and families in our community. These contributions directly benefited KCSL’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs in southwestern Kansas that foster school readiness, encourage parent engagement, prioritize children’s health and safety and support families.
Your commitment made a tangible difference in the lives of many, enabling us to continue supporting children and families in the community.
