Building Healthy Families Tour - Wichita

Building Healthy Families (BHF) mission tours guide visitors through the programs and services KCSL provides to help prevent child abuse, strengthen families and empower parents and youth. Unlike a building tour, BHF tours provide an intimate setting for visitors to not only engage with KCSL but also discover simple ways they can help spread awareness of KCSL’s mission, such as inviting a friend to a tour or referring a family to KCSL services. Klicks for Kids -- Coffey County

Additional Information: Klicks for Kids is a traveling photography exhibit featuring images of some of the nearly 900 Kansas children in foster care needing adoption. The gallery is a collaborative effort by Adopt Kansas Kids, a program of the Kansas Children's Service League, and the Kansas Professional Photographer's Association to find families for these children, as well as raise awareness of the critical need for foster and adoptive parents in our state. The gallery will tour the state throughout the year with anticipated stops in several Kansas communities.

Additional Information: The 41st Annual Governor’s Conference for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is an educational, networking and recognition event acknowledged as the most comprehensive conference in Kansas regarding child abuse and neglect issues.
