JavaScript is a programming language which is embedded in the code that makes up our site. JavaScript allows instant interaction between the web site and you. For instance, if a page has a form with required fields on it, we can alert you if you leave a field blank. We can also use JavaScript to determine which browser you are using. That helps us customize parts of our site which might work for one browser, but not for another.

JavaScript cannot track your internet browsing, nor does it read personal information on your computer.

We require that JavaScript be enabled. 98% of computers already have JavaScript enabled, so you may not need to make any changes.

Supported Browsers

The web is constantly expanding and growing in technological ability. At KCSL we try to keep pace with some of those technologies, especially those that enhance your experience on our site. The downside to this effort is that older browsers and older computers sometimes don't behave as we intended.

To ensure that you are experiencing the best site that we can offer, we recommend that you keep your browser updated to the latest supported version and always install service packs and updates.

When we develop our websites we test our work against three different browsers. These browsers make up 98% of our visitors.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
  • Mozilla FireFox
None of these browser developers report information to or compensate KCSL.

The use of the browsers above is not a requirement to use our site but may be necessary to gain the most valuable experience.
