April is National Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month, a time when child wellness and child welfare organizations across the U.S. elevate the importance of creating systems and programs that put children and families first. The theme of this year’s awareness and impact campaign is “Powered by Hope, Strengthened by Prevention.” Will you join us in strengthening families through prevention?
Wear Blue Day will be on Friday, April 4, 2025. Partner organizations, local businesses, community members and supporters can all wear blue to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Plant a pinwheel garden in your community to serve as a visual reminder of the world we want for all children to grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed. Pinwheels and other materials can be ordered through KCSL.
