As National Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month ends, we want to thank all who participated throughout April. From wearing blue to planting pinwheels and engaging in various CAP Month activities, your support and commitment have been truly inspiring.
Your involvement in CAP Month activities has not only helped raise awareness about the importance of preventing child abuse but has also demonstrated a collective dedication to building safer and more nurturing communities for children and families. We have highlighted the significance of primary prevention and emphasized our commitment to Building a Hopeful Future, Together.
Building Hopeful Futures Year-round
Our work is not done at the end of CAP Month. Child abuse prevention is a year-round endeavor, and it requires continuous effort and collaboration. At Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL), we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting parents and children through evidence-based programming, resources and support.
As we look ahead, let us carry the momentum of CAP Month forward and continue working together to create positive change. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to the well-being of our community, children, and families. Thank you once again for your time, effort and passion for building a hopeful future. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
